Carol Cannon-Henderson
Carol graduated from Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1982. She was a Class 1 gymnast, All State Gymnast, and Equestrian.
Beginning her college career at the University of Oklahoma, she then transferred to the University of Utah to pursue a career in Athletic Training and received her degree cum-laude in 1987. She then obtained her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. While in College, Carol began competing in Triathlons, and began her career in Group Fitness.
After graduating, Carol went to work for a sports orthopedic physical therapy practice in Ventura, California. She was the exercise specialist to the patients, taught back stabilization classes, and served as Athletic Trainer to the local High Schools. While in Ventura, Carol won the Ms. Ventura, and Ms. Pacific Coast Bodybuilding Championship Titles.
Carol has over 20 years of Personal Training experience. She has worked with all populations from general fitness to athletes and youth. She has developed several successful programs such as Winter Cycle Training, Fit Nut, and, FIT. She is also a certified Spinning instructor, a Master Trainer for Resist-a-Ball, and Promise Enterprises. Carol teaches Resist-a-ball and Kickboxing Certifications, and provides educational seminars.
Carol’s current endeavor is training for Iron-man distance triathlons, and becoming a USA Triathlon Coach. Carol enjoys hiking, camping, snow skiing, tubing and bowling with her 2 children.
